01 / START HERE

Your visit, your route.

The important first question is not which course. It is which registration and booking route applies to you.

HONG KONG ID CARD HOLDER

Have an HKID?

Start with KSC golfer registration and confirm that your HKID qualifies you for resident booking and rates. Use the official website or app for the registration and booking rules attached to your account.

See the HKID checklist →
Before committing: confirm the current handicap limit for your chosen course, accepted proof, identity documents and check-in requirements directly with KSC. The current numeric limits could not be verified.

02 / BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE

From “I’d love to”
to your first tee.

A practical preparation checklist — not a replacement for KSC’s booking policy. Complete registration and payment only through official channels.

  1. 01

    Confirm your category and documents

Tell KSC that you are an overseas first-time visitor without an HKID, if applicable. Ask which passport details, handicap certificate and other documents they require, and how to submit them securely.

  2. 02

    Get registration and eligibility confirmed

Ask KSC to confirm the handicap requirement for North, South or East and whether your home-club certificate is accepted. Obtain any registration approval before relying on a tee time.

  3. 03

    Request the correct booking window

Ask when overseas visitors can reserve, which channel to use, the minimum group size and whether single players can join a group. Exact overseas advance windows and release times are not verified here.

  4. 04

Confirm the full price, then keep the confirmation

Check your date, course, players, green fee, ferry, cart and rentals; read payment, cancellation and bad-weather terms. Pay only on KSC’s official service. Save the booking and check-in instructions.

HKID holders: a separate route

Confirm your golfer registration and resident eligibility first. Then follow the local release schedule and account rules in the official website / app. Do not use an overseas window for a local booking, or assume an HKID alone establishes eligibility. Current local release times and advance periods are not verified.

03 / GETTING THERE

Make the ferry
part of the day.

Travel to Sai Kung, then use the golf course’s own transport instructions. Leave room for the ferry, island transfer and check-in.

  1. Reach Sai Kung

Plan your road journey to Sai Kung from your hotel. Ask your taxi driver for the Kau Sai Chau golf ferry departure point, not simply a boat to Kau Sai village. Confirm the exact pier on KSC’s location page.

  2. Take the golf ferry

Check the official outbound and return timetable for your date. Confirm the ferry fare, ticket method and whether it is included in your booking. No current departure times are published here without verification.

  3. Follow KSC’s arrival instructions

Allow time for the island transfer, document checks, equipment collection and warm-up. Ask KSC which ferry to take for your tee time and confirm the last return sailing.

04 / CHOOSE YOUR ROUND

Three courses.
One extraordinary setting.

North, South and East are the three course options. Ask KSC which suits your handicap, preferred walking / cart arrangement and available tee times.

North

Compare the North option with your playing experience. Ask KSC for its current scorecard, handicap eligibility and walking / cart rules before choosing.

South

The coastal setting in our main photograph is South’s 12th hole. Ask KSC whether South is the best fit for your group and confirm the current scorecard.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few things
worth clearing up.

Can I book a tee time on this website?

No. This is a personal, non-commercial visitor guide, not the golf operator. Registration, bookings and payments belong on KSC’s official website / app or another channel explicitly confirmed by KSC.

Can I use my passport instead of an HKID?

Ask KSC for its overseas registration procedure. Do not enter a passport number in an HKID-only field or assume you qualify for resident rates. We could not verify the current accepted documents and process.

What handicap do I need?

Confirm the numeric limit and accepted certificate for the course you want directly with KSC. We do not publish unverified handicap thresholds or promise that a particular certificate will be accepted.

Can I rent everything when I arrive?

Confirm each item and reserve it with KSC where possible. Club / bag sets, shoes, trolleys and carts can have separate charges and availability rules. A green fee is not confirmation of equipment availability.

What happens if the weather changes?

Check Hong Kong Observatory warnings and KSC’s own course and ferry notices. Ask KSC about suspension, refund, rebooking and ferry arrangements. Do not infer a cancellation entitlement from this guide.

Why are some prices and times missing?

The official KSC website blocked our research access on 19 October 2026. Instead of reproducing old blog prices or unrelated ferry schedules, we clearly mark these details as unverified and link to the operator.

Sources, review status & photo credit

Transparency matters. “Reviewed” is not a claim that all operating information was confirmed. The official KSC pages were inaccessible to our research connection on 19 October 2026. Government visitor information and the operator’s App Store listing were accessible. Confirm all operational details with KSC before spending money or travelling.
